The crew, consisting of diverse individuals like the scholar March 7th, the former Cloud Knight of the Xianzhou Luofu Dan Heng, and the former Anti-Entropy member Welt Yang, joined forces to unravel the mysteries of the Stellaron crisis. Together, they seek to understand why the Express chose them and what destiny lies at the end of the tracks.

The story begins when the Herta Space Station is assaulted by the Antimatter Legion, leading to the implantation of a Stellaron into an artificial body that becomes the Trailblazer. After having their memories wiped by the Stellaron Hunters Kafka and Silver Wolf, the protagonist is rescued by March 7th and Dan Heng aboard the Astral Express. Their first major mission takes them to Jarilo-VI, a frozen planet where they expose Cocolia's corruption and defeat her with the aid of Qlipoth, ultimately restoring leadership to Bronya. The journey continues to the Xianzhou Luofu, a massive starship aligned with The Hunt, where political intrigue and external manipulation culminate in significant battles that reveal Dan Heng's identity as the reincarnation of a disgraced dragon-like entity.
